Bound in marble-stained sheep, with gilt double fillets on boards, and gilt decorations on board edges and turn-ins. Rounded spines divided into panels by groupings of gilt fillets, with fish-scale patterns filling the panels. Double red morocco lettering-pieces with gilt fillets and titles: THE / FAMILIES / OF PLANTS // VOL. I [&c.]. Marbled edges. Endpapers marbled in black stormont pattern with red and orange veins.
