NHM GENERAL - Vol. 1 only. At p. 132/133 is a small picture of an elderly woman, which appears to have been cut out of a newspaper or auction catalogue.
NHM BOTANY - Portrait in vol. 2. Both vols. have suffered water damage with some colour transfer,and pages are stuck together in vol. 1. Back hinge of vol. 1 is broken.
NHM GENERAL - Tooled leather binding with raised bands and marbled endpapers. The spine is rather worn.
