Ms. annotations in red ink throughout. Inserted between front flyleaves is a photocopied article by Reid and Gildzen, 'Another Copy of Hill's British Herbal' from theBibliographical Society of America, n.d. Attached to front flyleaf is reprint of Stearn's 'Hill's The British Herbal' from Taxon, 1967.

Inserted between front flyleaves is a photocopied article by Reid and Gildzen, 'Another Copy of Hill's British Herbal' from the Bibliographical Society of America, n.d. Attached to front flyleaf is reprint of Stearn's 'Hill's The British Herbal' from Taxon, 1967. Shield of the Earl of Northumberland has been col. on dedicatory page. Repairs have been made to the edges of some of the plates.
