London set lacks vols. 8-12 (Cryptogamia), and therefore also lacks plates 1408-2580 and the five additional supplementary plates that accompanied them. Harlow Carr lacks vols. 1-6.
This title was originally published in 36 volumes: 1790-1814. The second edition appeared in 12 volumes. The third edition consisted of a re-issue of the first seven volumes of the second edition, the portion dealing with flowering plants.
Vols. 1-2 were edited by James de Carle Sowerby, vols. 3-7 by Charles Johnson.
